I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist born and raised on Oahu. I am a graduate of Iolani School, and attended the University of San Diego where I earned my Masters Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. I truly love what I do, and am blessed to be able to do what makes me happy every day of my life.
My therapeutic approach takes into account the client’s entire system, realizing that individual’s problems do not exist in isolation of itself. I believe that we are constantly being influenced by various people and occurrences in our lives. All of these things have constant uninterrupted influence on our emotions and behaviors, both good and bad. Therapy can help us harness these influences in more positive ways, teaching skills that help to empower and enhance emotional wellbeing.
I work collaboratively with my clients, with goals of empowering, strengthening, and enhancing the lives of each of my clients. I offer a safe and supportive environment for change and believe establishing a trusting relationship with my clients is one of main elements of therapeutic success.
